JTD (Alessandro Laloli), is a Swiss-Italian Producer, DJ and MC, based in Berlin.
His sound is influenced by the rough 90’s Boombap Beats, UK garage, Jungle and Drum & Bass. It is characterized by breaks and ruff drums, combined with bigger than life basslines, all glued with different techniques, like the use of Classic Samplers blended with modern sound-design.
Alessandro started young, by producing HipHop Beats, House and Drum & Bass. The more he dug, the more he developed his love for UK Bass and Garage, that inspired his ‘Junior The Drunk’ project, with which he self-released a first three tracks EP in 2020.
The similarities between UK Bass and the Hip-Hop scene from which Alessandro comes from, are also the values that he carries and believes in as an artist:
“It is important to me, to follow my own interest and taste, and never the hype. Musical freedom is as important as having knowledge about what came before. Just be curious.”
After a contribution in the Fishnet VA 01, Junior The Drunk’s debut album 315 came out on December 9th 2021 on Fishnet Records.
